Henschke Education Kit 2007
September 2007
Stephen and Prue, 5th generation husband and wife curators, make an inspiring viticulturist & winemaker duo and together are responsible for such famed wines as Hill of Grace, Mt Edelstone, Cyril Henschke, and more. Recently rated Australia's top Shiraz by James Halliday, the Hill of Grace is front & center of Australia's most coveted reds. The Henschke portfolio is well-worth exploring – each wine individually showcases Prue's intensely focused care in the vineyards and Stephen's intensely focused care in the winery.

The Wine Roads of Australia
In Wine Enthusiast's recent 'The Wine Roads of Australia' piece, the author refers to Yalumba as a must-see vineyard, noting 'the beautiful marble buildings of Robert Hill Smith's Yalumba Winery, the oldest family-run wine company in Australia (try their Viognier and Octavius Shiraz matured in their own coopered barrels).'
Susan Gough Henly, Wine Enthusiast (USA), March 2007 Issue

Yalumba Hand Picked TGV: Blended for Bliss
With Tempranillo taking off in Australia, Huon Hooke takes a look at Yalumba Hand Picked TGV and rates it 'excellent'.
"... Yalumba also makes a three-way tempranillo-dominant blended red, know as TGV. That's tempranillo, grenache and viognier, under the Hand Picked label, an excellent red with bright cherry-pip, spice, blackberry aromas and a hint of mint. The viognier adds a faintly floral edge to the nose."
Huon Hooke, Good Living, Sydney Morning Herald, 20 February 2007
