Rated 88 points - "This is an excellent rosé from Yalumba. Weighs in at only 11.5 percent alcohol too. Perfect for autumn quaffing. I love the style of this. Maybe it doesn't have a great deal of length, but it has enough. And anyway, its savoury, cherried, tobacco-like flavours are thoroughly delicious. Smells and tastes beaut. No alcohol heat whatsoever, allowing the flavours to sing freely. Won me over instantly."

BLOODY GOOD - The Quaff 2010 'Run for the Roses' Pink Wine of the Year Award - "The Yalumba Y Series Sangiovese Rosé has been the most consistent performer in the price range for the past couple of years. (This wine...) has more complexity and intrigue and a more savoury, drier palate profile. The Tuscan variety, sangiovese, often seems to do better as a rosé in Australia than as a straight varietal. This has some dried herb/dried flower aromatics, as ripe, sweet red cherry flavours, is juicy and fresh before a clean, dry finish that grips gently."
